It’s a 4 Charter day!

Sweetwater Marina had 4 charters this morning and Capt. Jack came in before 11 am with Mr. Charlie, Kim, and Mark. They had 20 beautiful Redfish they caught in Lake Batola. This was the guys 3rd charter of the week and already looking forward to their next trip back to Delacroix. 😉👍 We enjoyed having you fellas chartering and lodging at Sweetwater Marina.

Capt Calvin has a charter with Mike and Jason, the guys brought in 15 Redfish, and bass from Shrimp Lagoon. The fellas are loving their annual business trip to NOLA!

Dr. Paul Harsh and family, wife Juliette, daughter Alyx, and son Dylan enjoyed their charter with Capt. Wayne in Lake Campo. They caught 21 Redfish, 6 Drum and 2 Catfish. Alyx had the catch of the day with a 22 lb. Drum she released, after striking a pose.

Capt Matt had a catch and release day with his charter today. The Cali boys had the time of their lives in NOLA.

All of our Captains beat the bad weather we were forecasted to have, but haven’t received yet………glad we didn’t listen to that. They all had great catches today!

Dispite the weather

It was surprisingly a really good day dispite the weather forecasted for today. The rain held off for all the anglers today!

Capt. Jack had a charter with Charlie, Kim, and Mark. They caught 20 Redfish, a Sheepshead, a Trout, and a Flounder today. Yesterday they had a charter also and caught 20 Redfish. The guys went fishing in Shell Lake, Shrimp Lagoon, and Bay Andrew areas. Sounds like they are having a great time at Sweetwater Marina, 🎣😉👍 and are looking forward to tomorrow for round 3 with Capt. Jack.

Capt. Jack and Capt. Wayne also had a charter Saturday they caught 25 Redfish on one boat and 20 on the other in an hour and a half. They were amazed Capt. Jack could put them on Redfish and get that many fish in that short of time. They went to Lake Batola for their fast find. Sunday they caught 30 Trout, 8 Drum, 8 Redfish and a few Sheepshead, on one boat and 25 Redfish on the other, all were caught in Lake Campo. Tom and his 7 friends from Florida, had a very successful trip at Sweetwater Marina. 🚣‍♂️🎣

Capt. Calvin had a charter with Neal &
Doug. They caught 11 Redfish & 5 Trout in Shrimp Lagoon.

Rustin caught 5 Redfish, a Bass and a Trout in the Bay Lafourche area this
morning.

Mr. Tommy and Gary (as shown in picture) from Meridian MS. stayed at Sweetwater for a couple days and shared a picture of their best catches of the trip. Thank you fellas 😉👍🎣

Enjoying the beautiful day was easy to do….

This is the beginnings of a beautiful day! Mr. Tommy and friends are having a good start to the day! Thank you for the delicious lunch!

Today was a nice day at Sweetwater Marina. Enjoying the beautiful day was easy to do with all the awesome customers who launch and lodge here.

Brent King brought in some beautiful Redfish before noon. Mr. King and his son Carley took little Jack fishing for his birthday 🎂🎣😉👍

Damian, Brian, and Marvin caught 15 Redfish in Oak River.

David, Nick, and Tommy went to Four Horse at Pipeline and caught 2 Sheepshead, 6 trout, and 8 Redfish. Awesome day fellas!👍

One of our favorite firefighters from Tennessee and his wife came to Sweetwater and shared some the great catches while they were here.

Abundance of Trout

This weekend…. despite the water spout with in site of Sweetwater Marina, was great. There was an abundance of Trout in the Lake John area and the Twin Pipeline, the reports coming from that area were tremendous!

Straight out the gate we had 2 anglers come in with 40 trout in 4 horse before 10 am. Starting the day off right!

Mr. & Mrs. Presley came in before 11 am with 7 Redfish and 5 Trout. That “Reel Pressure” for you. 😉👍

Capt. Jack went fishing with Tony, Brittany, and Brittany they caught 13 Redfish.

Sweetwater’s favorite retired MS Men brought in their 4 man limit of Redfish today. We can always count on them to bring in a nice catch.

Beginnings of a good day!

Mr. Bill & Ray are lodging at Sweetwater Marina and brought in a 2 man limit of Redfish this morning before 11 am. They said the water is the best it has ever been since they started coming here 4 years ago.

Tyler, David and Devin launched at Sweetwater Marina and went fishing in Lake Campo. The guys caught 10 Redfish and a Trout. They said they played catch and release with more than a hundred rat reds.

 

Perfect day!

It was a perfect day for fishing today at Sweetwater Marina, and for all those who came to Sweetwater got in on all the action of the day!

Capt. Jack had a charter today with Mr Darren, Seth and Chris & their sons Jack, Athens and Edge. The guys had a great time today and the boys caught most of the fish, but in total they caught 27 Redfish and 15 Trout.

Capt. Calvin had a charter and launched at Sweetwater and they caught 10 Redfish and 5 Trout.

Brett with the “Trout Bitch” boat redeemed himself today. He and his friend Justin caught 10 Redfish. That was 9 more than the other day. Great job guys! 😉👍

Leroy, Chance, Van, Herbert, and Frank fished Oak River Bay today and caught 20 Redfish, a Sheepshead and a Flounder. (the unicorn of the sea) 🦄

Derron, Alvin, and Marlon also went to Oak River Bay and caught 11 Redfish.

Chris and Ronald went fishing in Lake Campo and caught 21 Trout, 3 Drum, 10 Redfish and a Founder. 🦄

Picture perfect!

It was a picture perfect day here at Sweetwater Marina. The water has a good clarity, the wind was just right, the water was also at the right level and the fish were biting!

Barry, Dennis, and Al, went fishing in Lake John and Pencil Canal today and caught 10 trout and 3 Redfish.

LJ and Dan went to Bay Jack and caught a 2 man limit Redfish, 2 Trout and a Drum.

Hans and his nephew’s Jordan and Parker. Limited out on Redfish today.

Mr. Mark from ATL, came to Sweetwater Marina, for his weekly fishing trip, and caught 5 Redfish, 6 trout and a Drum yesterday in Spider Canal. Today he came with his friend Darryl, and they caught 5 Redfish, 10 Drum, and 4 Trout. 😉👍 Great job fellas. Hope to see y’all soon.

Hanging with the fellas

It was a beautiful day, but the wind was a bit challenging. A little patience and determination got the job done, and some fellas had really good catches.

Capt Jack went fishing today with his dad (Mr. Buddy), Freddy, and Dennis. The guys had a great time, bringing in 60 Trout. The fellas fished the Four corners, Shrimp Lagoon, and Shell Lake. Fishing out of the wind in all the bayou’s of Delacroix.

Capt. Calvin had a charter with a few buddies today also and they caught 25 Redfish, 2 Drum, and 2 Trout. Great job fellas. 😉👍

Have to give a shout out to the catch of the day, to the guy with the best named boat. The “Trout Bitch” brought in one whole Redfish today! 🎣🔪
