Taking advantage of the best day of the weekend!! Before the big change in weather tomorrow.

Mr. Louis LaRue not only has a great Hollywood name but he creates beautiful pictures with his awesome catch of the day!! He went fishing in Lake John today with his friend Robert. They brought in 10 Redfish and 25 Trout!! Great job fellas!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Over all, today was a pretty busy day and for some today was a hit and for a few it was a total miss., and most had a great time today no matter what with the great weather!

We had a beautiful day here at Sweetwater Marina! The most popular comment of the day was that the wind was a bit of a challenge. Everyone said the fish were biting but getting them in the boat was a different story.
Everyone I spoke to caught something but it wasn’t easy. The east side of Little Lake was a parking lot according several boaters, and only a couple of them did well.

Mr. James went out for a couple hours and caught, 3 Redfish, 1 trout and, a bass.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dean and Dave brought in 16 trout east of Little Lake.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gary & Rustin were also close to Little Lake by Shrimp Lagoon with their had full of fish.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I spoke to Mike House and Paul Dubroc from Louisiana Troutman and they had the best Redfish catch of the day, and they were beauties too!!

Capt. Jack had a couple charters last weekend. We wanted to highlight the awesome catches from the 2 great couples.

Mr. & Mrs. Gary Suckow wanted to target Redfish Saturday and they did that well, they limited out on Redfish in Oak River.

Sunday Capt. Jack took Mr. & Mrs. Walker on a Charter and had a 2 man limit of Trout, 1 Redfish and a Drum. Both couples had a great time and can’t wait to come back to Sweetwater Marina to do it again

Enjoyed a great day at Sweetwater Marina, and tomorrow should be just as nice.  It is too beautiful to be at work, so get here early and let’s go fishing!! 

One of our favorite new angler caught 30 Trout in the Grave Yard and 1 Redfish close to oak river (he remains nameless cause he was at work today)

Mr. Darrin, Timothy, Clay, and Neil got up early this morning after hearing all the boats line up to launch here at Sweetwater Marina. They came in this afternoon with some redfish and are looking to go out this evening for some trout.

The fish are biting…. are you making plans to come to Sweetwater Marina tomorrow ? You should be!! .

Mr. Darrin, Timothy, Clay, and Neil had a
4 man limit of Redfish in Oak River by noon. Now if they could only get the fish clean. They could enjoy their stay at Sweetwater Marina, but the knife died after the 1st fillet. The guys are looking forward to round 2nd tomorrow.

This weekend was pretty awesome at Sweetwater Marina, and this week is looking like it’s going to be a good one also.

Mr. King and his friend Tony Cochran had their 2 man limit of Redfish yesterday and today before noon. Looks like Oak River is a Redfish hotspot!!

Took Garry, Tyler, Brad, and my little buddy Cooper out today. They ed the .

We have had a great week here at Sweetwater Marina, and we kicked the weekend off right with another beautiful day.

Capt. Jack had a charter today with Mr. & Mrs. Doug Presley and their son who’s birthday is today and their beautiful daughter. They had a great time and limited out on Redfish today in Oak River.

Leon and Kirk caught, 10 Redfish, 1 Bass and a hand full of Trout in the “local secret spot” Oak River. 😉👍

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Mark, who is lodging with us at Sweetwater Marina, caught 14 Trout, 5 Redfish, and 1 Sheepshead in Lake John, and can’t wait to be the first to launch tomorrow and head out for more fishing fun. 

 

 

 

 

 

Jeremy, Chuck, & Marques brought in 11 Redfish 6 trout. Thank you for your service fellas. 

 

 

 

 

 

Toll, Mike, Cody and Ray caught their limit of Redfish in Oak River.

 

 

 

 

 

We had a couple anglers who caught 47 Trout & 2 Redfish in the “Grave Yard”.
And the other had 6 Drum, 2 Catfish, 1 Sheepshead, and 33 Trout in Little Lake.
