Thursday Run down!
We apologize about the lack of fishing reports from Capt Jack, but here is the run down.
Last Saturday Capt Jack fished with some great people that lived his old neighborhood where his mom and dad lived. It turned out to be probably the worst trip he’s ever had fishing in Delacroix. They ended up catching 1 redfish , missing 3 other redfish, and missing 4 speckled trout!
On Monday he some people from Albany Georgia. Their dream was to catch bull reds, the wind was blowing 25mph, so they really couldn’t go out to specifically target bull reds. So they went inside and caught 6 redfish and threw back 5-6 beautiful red fish. Then Capt Jack took them trout fishing and ended up catching 21 trout!
On Tuesday Capt Jack took C.T. fishing. They had a great day and caught a bunch of beautiful, speckled trout! Make sure to watch them on the fishing report on Fox News 8, tonight at 9pm.
Yesterday and today he took out a group from Daphne Alabama, they caught 41 speckled trout yesterday and 100 trout today. They used live shrimp and matrix shad avocado.
We apologize about not having a lot of shrimp for everyone in the bait shop. They haven’t been able to catch any shrimp on this side at all. They’ll be going out tonight in another
area to try and stock up for tomorrow.

Monday Run down
Capt Jack had a charter last Tuesday with Kenney Grounds and his friend Derrick, and they got 11 redfish. They fished that afternoon and caught their last 4 and ended up with a total of 15 for the day. The next day they switched gears and went trout fishing and got 8 nice, speckled trout. For a solid 20 minutes they were catching them and then it completely stopped. It was fast and Furious to completely dead so they went red fishing and got 4.
Capt Jack had some from friends from Florida come in for a 3 day charter. They caught 9 red fish Thursday, 14 Friday, and Saturday Capt Jack went on a tip and they caught 1 redfish but then he decided to go back to his regular spot and they caught 6 more redfish. They missed another 6-8 that got off the hook. It’s nice to try something different sometimes.
We do have one of the other charter Captains available for a charter on Saturday if you’d like to book with him. Capt Jack also has some openings coming up in the next month.
We have boat storage available as well. They are partially enclosed, and it includes free boat launches, water, and electricity.

They will be out again this week so that the tanks will be nice and filled up for the weekend. We greatly appreciate everyone’s patience.
