Spring just around the corner!

Fishing, overall, has been pretty good. The redfish are biting really good. Captain Jack went out yesterday. They stopped at one spot & immediately, caught their limit of 10. So, they went around scouting & checking out some other spots. They caught some more reds everywhere they went & threw them back, ofcourse…they, also, caught 2 freshwater cats, around 25 Ib each..crazy big! If you want to catch some beautiful freshwater catfish, they are biting all over, especially if you fish on the bottom. A few people that fish Delacroix,religiously, have been catching trout around Fourhorse & that general area. As soon as this water warms back up, the trout fishing should pick up pretty good! It has been pretty cold lately, and there are still people catching a few. As far as live shrimp, we have been having a few here and there. The shrimp issue should resolve, when the water warms back up, as well. Sorry we haven’t been writing reports lately, but the weather hasn’t been on our side.
