Today was a day that the early birds got the worm. Early in the day the wind was calm and made it easy to catch fish. Capt. Calvin took a crew out and they had 50 trout before 8:00 and caught some redfish later in the day. The wind picked up around 9 and started to make it more difficult. A couple people I talked to early in the day caught a decent amount of redfish and a few trout. The crews that I talked to later in the day didn’t have as much luck. A few caught some bass and redfish around Lake Lery with live and artificial bait. Some unfortunately went home empty handed. Tomorrow morning the wind is going to be calm, but later in the day the wind is going to pick up. If you can try to be an early bird tomorrow. We have live shrimp!!! We still have 90 octane NON-ETHANOL fuel available at a low price!! We have tackle, snacks, and drinks also!!
