Yesterday Capt. Jack took a crew out and had a great time. Today a couple people went out. One crew I talked to caught 10 redfish and a 5 bass around Lake Lery. Another crew I talked to caught 12 redfish around Four Horse Lake with live shrimp. A few other went out toward Lake Campo and caught a couple reds with live shrimp and minnows. Tomorrow is going to be another beautiful day, so come on down and catch your limits!!
We have live shrimp, minnows, and dead bait!! We also have drinks, snacks, ice, tackle and 90 octane NON-ETHANOL fuel!!! We have lodging available this week and Capt Jack also has some spot left for the month. Call 504-342-2368 to book!!!

Today was a slow day down at Sweetwater! Capt. Jack took a crew out and caught 17 redfish. They fished a little everywhere with live shrimp and artificial bait. We had a couple other boats go out later in the day. One crew caught 8 redfish, 3 sheepshead, and 1 catfish. They said they fished all over with live shrimp and dead bait. The other crew that went out caught 5 redfish and 1 sheepshead. They also said they fish a little bit everywhere with live shrimp, minnows, and artificial bait. Today was a tough day, but that’s why it is called fishing and not catching.
Tomorrow is going to be a nice calm day! We will have live shrimp, minnows, and dead bait! We also will be stocked up with snacks, drinks, ice, tackle, and NON-ETHANOL fuel! Come on down to Sweetwater, and let us set you up for your fishing trip!!

It’s a nasty day down at Sweetwater. Capt. Jack took a crew out and caught 17 redfish. Thankfully the weather held out long enough for the trip. We had a couple other boats that beat the weather today also. One boat caught a couple reds in Four Horse Lake with live shrimp. A few others didn’t want to give up their secret spots, but they caught a couple reds with live and artificial bait.

Today was another beautiful day! Capt.Jack took a crew out, they caught 18 redfish and 2 catfish. They fished with live and artificial under a cork. We had a couple crews catch their limit of redfish. Some fished around Four Horse Lake with live shrimp. Others fished around Lake John with dead and artificial bait. We had a crew that caught 10 trout and one redfish with artificial bait. Another crew caught 49 trout in Lake Campo. They said they used matrix shad and live shrimp under a cork.

The last couple days have been wonderful! Capt. Jack took a crew out Saturday they caught 19 reds, 2 trout, and 3 sheepshead. Today Capt Jack took another crew out and caught 15 reds. We had a couple crews go out today and catch their limit of reds. A few fished around Four Horse Lake with live shrimp and artificial bait. Some others fished around Lake John and Little lake with artificial under a cork. We also had a couple crews fish “not to far from the dock” or “in Delacroix” catch their limit of red fish with artificial bait. One crew caught a couple bass around Lake Lery with artificial bait. Tomorrow is going to be another calm beautiful day, come catch your limit!

Today was a beautiful day down at Sweetwater!! Capt Jack went out with Kevin Ford and Jim to do a t.v. show and they caught their limit. We will let everyone know when Kevin airs it. We had a decent amount of boats go out and catch their limit of redfish. A few people went around Four Horse Lake for their limit. They fished with live shrimp under a cork. A few others went toward Lake John and catch their limit with both live and artificial bait. We also had a few that went around Lake Bartola and caught their limit with all artificial. We had a few boat that didn’t have as much luck, but still enjoyed their fishing trip. Tomorrow is going to be another beautiful day, so plan a trip to catch your limit!!!

Today was a amazing day at Sweetwater!!! We had a decent amount of boats go out and catch some fish. Capt. Calvin took a crew out today and caught 1 trout, 1 sheepshead, and 8 redfish. They fished around Lake Robin with live shrimp under a cork. We had a crew limit out on redfish in Oak River in the pockets with all artificial. We had another crew limit out on redfish in Grand Lake with live and artificial bait.  I had a crew come in with 6 reds, 3 trout, and 5 bass around Four Horse Lake with live shrimp. Also had a few crews that limited out on bass around Lake Lery with all artificial bait. We had a few sight fisherman go out today. They said they found some clean water and spotted a lot of nice size reds. We are open  this weekend until they tell us otherwise! We will keep everyone posted through the weekend!

Today was a hot but beautiful day! We had a decent amount of boats go out and catch some fish. Capt. Calvin took a crew out today, they caught a few reds, a couple sheepshead, and a bass. They used live shrimp and artificial bait under a cork. A few boats went toward Little Lake and caught a decent amount of reds. They fished with live shrimp and dead bait. A crew also caught a few reds around Lake John with gold spoons. A few others went to Four Horse Lake and caught a couple reds with all live shrimp and artificial bait. Today wasn’t the greatest fishing day, but it definitely was not the worst. No one went home empty hand, and everyone enjoyed the amazing view.
The weather is going to be amazing tomorrow, no rain very calm wind. The tide also looks really good for tomorrow. The perfect day to fish so come on down and catch your limits.

They also fished a little bit of everywhere with live and artificial. We had a crew limit out on reds in Spanish Lake with gold spoons. A few other crews limited out on reds around Four Horse Lake and Lake John. They fished with live shrimp and minnows. We also had a couple crews catch some nice bass with artificial bait.

Today was a pretty day down at Sweetwater! Capt. Jack took a crew out and they caught their limit on redfish. Capt. Jack said it was a little difficult today, but they managed to succeed. We had a couple other crews that limited out on reds around Lake John and Little Lake with live shrimp and artificial bait. A couple other crews that I talked to wasn’t as lucky. Today was a struggle catching fish, but everyone still enjoyed the great outdoors. We have live shrimp, dead bait, and live minnows. We also have drinks, snacks, ice, fuel and tackle available.
