Capt.Jack went out today with Chris Schleuss, and friends Lou, Kacey, and Mejung. They headed to Grand lake where they caught 15 reds, 8 bass and a sheephead. Then they headed to Shrimp Lagoon where they caught 18 trout. They said they had a great time and enjoyed the trip being that they came in August when all was biting was red fish. This time they got to fish longer and catch a variety of fish. Trout fishing picked up tremendously and we have plenty of live for the morning so come on down to Sweetwater. We have Lindsey ready to clean your fish if you need. We thank everyone who came and launched today for their business. We appreciate it!!!

Today Capt. Jack went out with a great friend of his fathers. Mr. Bobby Kruebbe, and his wife Mrs. Patsy Kriebbe booked a charter to take their grandson Nicholas out for a fun day of fishing with Capt. Jack. They headed to Lake John where they caught 17 trout. They also went to Oak River where they caught 15 reds and a bass. They had a great trip full of fun and laughs making great memories together. Isn’t that what life’s about? We were glad to see them. Their grandson is one lucky lil fellow because you can see the love his grandparents have for him. One for the books!! Today Capt. Calvin left out of Sweetwater with Mr. Joe Lassalle and his grandson Mason Jennings. They headed to Lake Campo where they 36 trout and 15 sheephead. They ended their trip at Lake John where they caught 4 reds, a drum, a bass, and a freshwater Catfish. They had a great trip and we enjoyed having them. Thanks Mr.Lassalle for booking through Sweetwater. Glad y’all had a good trip and can’t wait to see y’all again.

Today a family came down that has never been fishing down here before. So we had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Jason Wade , Mrs Aimee Wade, Mr. Matthew Lajeune, Mr. Ross Melancon, and Mr.Ayden Gros. Mr. Jason asked for advice this morning on where to go so we helped him out with some pointers. He decided to head to Grand Lake. When he came in I asked what he caught and with very much excitement on having had a great fishing trip he told me what he caught. 15 reds, 10 bass, 4 sheep head, and 4 trout was their catch. They were super excited and we were happy for them. We hope to see them again soon! Thanks for launching at Sweetwater. We appreciate your business!

Today Capt.Shawn went out with Rusty,Russ, and Evan Wiggers. After launching at Sweetwater Marina they headed to Oak River where they caught 65 trout,13 reds and some drum. They had an awesome day of fishing like so many others that went out today. The trout are here people!!! Come on down and get in on this great fishing. Capt.Jack went out today with The Walker Family. They headed to Lake Campo where they caught 2 Bullreds, 4 redfish, and 58 trout. They had a great trip. We had a lot of action at Sweetwater today and really all week. If your looking to go catch some trout I would suggest you come now the water is crystal clear Capt. Jack hadn’t seen it like that in two months.  Mr. Duke one of our regulars caught 50 trout in Lake Campo today also. Come on down you won’t be disappointed. Today Mr. Percy Brown and Mr. Ronnie Wood launches out of Sweetwater and headed to Fourhorse where they caught 42 trout. We have lots of trout action going on down here so come on down!!! Mr Roy Beeson, John,Stan,Preston and Jim stayed with us the past couple nights. They were from different places such as Atlanta, Connecticut, Colorado, Washington DC, and Oregon. I would say they came a long way from home to go hunting. They went out this morning and shot 28 ducks with Capt. Christopher Pike . They asked where would be a good place to eat so of course we sent them to a Charlie’s Restaurant. They said they enjoyed the food. Figured they would being we have good food down home. Glad they choose Sweetwater lodging. We appreciate the business. We been seeing lots of trout coming in. If your looking to go fishing come on down. We have all your needs for the trip such as fuel, live shrimp, tackle,and ice. Trout steady coming into Sweetwater today Donald,Steve and Laura listened to Capt.Jack and went to Lake John catching 53 trout!! Wow!! What and awesome catch!! Then we had Mr.Joe and Mr.Cody head to Fourhorse where they caught 30 trout and a red. Just some awesome fishing out of Sweetwater Marina today. The people are steady coming in with trout.
